My name is Diane Cransac. I am the previous owner and operator of Sallymender Reweaving and Fine Mending. After living abroad for 15 years I have returned to Seattle to once again ply my trade here. I am a master reweaver, thread weaver, and reknitter and have repaired thousands of pieces of clothing over the years. It is a great source of satisfaction for me to be able to take something beautiful but broken and bring it back to life. I take pride in my work and find it extremely rewarding.
Sallymender Reweaving and Fine Mending was a 75 year old company in downtown Seattle and Bellevue. I spent many years here fixing peoples clothing but I closed it 15 years ago to move to France. I have reopened it with a slightly different name as invisible mending is a more recognized term in today's society than reweaving is. I still provide the same level of service and you can feel confident in my professional care of your items.
I now have an office in Fremont as 4020 Leary Way NW, Suite 600, Seattle Wa. You must call me to open the door as there is no buzzer. 360-310-7674. I am open Mon 2-6, Tues 10-2, Thurs 2-6, Fri 10-2 and by appointment only on Saturday. I also accept mail in items for estimates of repair and require a deposit for half of the estimate before starting my work. Please send items to 13315 Greenwood Ave N, Apt 206b, Seattle, Wa 98133. DO NOT send items to the Leary Way address, there is no mail box there. My timeline tends to fill up fast so please do not wait too long to send your items in. I have been known to run three months out at times.
I am SUPER satisfied..A+
